2009 Vesak Ceremony at the High Commission
Hon. Prime Minister attends a Vesak Ceremony with the High Commissioner Anura Rajakaruna and Secretary to Prime Minister Mr. Mahinda Bandusena.


The High Commission held Vesak Ceremony on 08th of May 2009 at the High Commission premises with the participation of the Sri Lankan community. Hon Ratnasiri Wickramanayake, Prime Minister of Sri Lanka attended this ceremony as the chief guest. The Prime Minister visited South Africa from 07 – 10 May to attend the Inauguration Ceremony of the new President of South Africa.
