The 63rd Anniversary of the independence of Sri Lanka was celebrated by the Sri Lanka High Commission in Pretoria, South Africa, on the 4th of February, 2011.
The main ceremony was held at the official residence and all members of the Sri Lankan community resident in South Africa and the other countries, to which the High Commission is accredited, had been invited.
