High Commission of Sri Lanka in Pretoria Participates in North-West International Market Access 2025

The High Commission of Sri Lanka in Pretoria showcased Ceylon Tea and tourism at the 2025 North-West International Market Access event at the Sun City Resort from 26 to 27 March 2025.

Over the two days, the event featured over 40 exhibitors and was attended by more than 500 business entities, government representatives, and members of the diplomatic corps.

At the Sri Lanka exhibition stall, the High Commission presented the seven regional varieties of Ceylon Tea, along with flavored teas, which were sponsored by the Basilur Tea agent based in South Africa. Additionally, visitors to the Sri Lankan stall were given insights into Ceylon Tea and Sri Lanka as a tourist destination through informative briefings, tea-tasting opportunities, and a presentation on Sri Lanka’s trade, tourism, and investment prospects.
